Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Director of Recruiting to join our rapidly growing U.S. team.  This role will be responsible for the complete build out of the talent acquisition practice and report to the VP, People. If you love building teams and finding creative solutions to identify top talent, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the People and Executive teams, develop and execute strategies  to achieve company-wide headcount goals.

  • Develop and execute trainings for hiring managers on ways to identify top talent, conduct behavioural interviews, and remove unconscious bias

  • Establish recruiting metrics for hiring across North America

  • Build out talent acquisition practice including process to scale with the business, and interview process with a focus on candidate experience.

  • Coach recruiters through the full-cycle recruiting process from candidate identification through offer

  • Evaluate and provide insights on recruitment standards and best practices to hiring managers and interview teams

  • Develop and execute strategies to fill active and passive pipelines through sourcing and recruitment programs

  • Ensure a positive, smooth and efficient recruiting process both internally and externally; create a top-notch candidate experience through transparency and speed

  • Contribute to developing our onboarding processes to get new hires ramped up and effective as fast as possible

  • Partner with Global Recruitment team to establish and share best practices for Ogury’s international offices

  • Build an employment brand for Ogury; including new ways to broadcast and promote open roles, the company culture, and what makes Ogury a top employer.

Experience / Background

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience as a minimum, with at least 2 years being in a sales recruiter role

  • Has successfully scaled teams undergoing rapid growth

  • Experience with mid to senior-level sales hires; media/tech/ad industry preferred

  • Responsive, organized and experienced in working cross-functionally between internal departments

  • Likes building teams and can help to put in place systems that will scale

  • Has experience collaborating with business leaders from top-tier companies

  • Can project manage all components involved in the full life-cycle recruiting process, including extending offers, closing candidates and documenting results to further improve the offer acceptance rate
