Ogury generates and collects more than 1TB of raw data every day and stores this highly-valuable data in its Big Data warehouse to optimize advertisement campaigns and generate advanced marketing insights.
As a member of the data team, you will work in a start-up environment in the heart of Paris, with a talented and motivated team that use agile development methods.
You will be responsible for the development of state-of-the-art machine learning and optimization applications (Deep learning, reinforcement models, xgboost, etc) to infer users' characteristics and behavior from a wide range of data types. You will explore very large datasets (more than 1TB) of logs stored in S3 or Redshift with Spark, R, and Python. You will build the data pipelines that will enrich the data warehouse with the output of your models.
In particular, you will work on very innovative Deep Learning models to reconstruct web browsing and application usage history from low-level signals such as network and CPU activity. You will also contribute to qualify the user’s higher-level characteristics such as demographics or consumer interests.
Finally, you will have the ownership of your contributions, from the proof of concept to production.
Profile of the ideal candidate:
- Masters in computer science, physics, applied mathematics or optimization
- Good knowledge of probability, statistics and machine learning
- Knowledge of Deep Learning is a plus
- Good coding skills in Python, R or Scala
- Spark is a plus
- Proficiency in SQL is a plus
- English and French language (Non-native French-speakers are welcome)
- Creativity and good communication skills
