The job:

As a member of the data team, you will work in a startup environment in the heart of Paris, with a talented and motivated team that use agile development methods.

At ease with fetching and processing various types of data from websites, online APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, you are responsible for mining internal and external data in search of significant patterns. You make an impact in the business by quickly providing relevant insights to make better decisions.

With a rigorous statistical approach, you build probabilistic models to estimate or predict a given metric with a confidence interval. You will design dashboards with Tableau, R, or python to show important indicators to the team in order to optimize the cost and performance of existing applications. You have outstanding communications skills and you efficiently present your results orally or by writing elegant documents.


Profile of the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor in computer science or statistics
  • Good knowledge in probability and statistics
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Good coding skills in R and bash
  • Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • You speak English and French (Non-native French-speakers are welcome)
  • Sens of ownership, creativity, and good leadership and communication skills
